Competition Report 5 teams entered this years competition. Magellan, Scott, Hampton, Marco Polo and Shackleton were all represented. Each team played in other in a mini league and the 2 top teams then battled it out for the trophy. After the round robin section the standing were as follows: 1st - Magellan 2nd - Hampton 3rd - Scott 4th - Marco Polo 5th - Shackleton So the stage was set once again for a battle between Hampton and Magellan with just 8 minutes to decide the winner. Magellan took an early lead and all seemed to be going well until, with less than 2 minutes to go, Hampton burst through and equalised, sendng the final into penalties. The standard of penalties and goalkeeping was first rate with the score being 1-1 after 4 penalites with just the goalkeepers left to take. Hampton went first and the ball was well saved, then up stepped the Magellan goalie to blast the ball into the net and secure another first place trophy for Magellan.
